When Dustin first brought up cloth diapers, I think I probably gave him a very funny look. Of course, I should have listened. As it turns out, I am really quite excited to try cloth diapers. The "technology" has come about a million miles since I was helping Mom (I mean Grandma) change Jenna's diapers. (Wow, that was a long time ago but it seems like yesterday!) And it's so much better for Baby. Look at these cute little diapers! The only issue is whether it's really that economical, considering we have to pay $1 to run a load of laundry at our apartment. And the better technology has a price, you know.

Well, I spent a ridiculously long time reading reviews of these new-fangled diapers. (You'd think *I* was the one having a baby!) Very mixed reviews, although generally positive (I was reading on Diaperpin.com about BumGenius.) It would be interesting to actually see the things in action and talk to an experienced mom. They are SO expensive! It didn't sound, from the reviews, like these diapers last really well.
Since you have to wash them anyway -- what about just getting traditional-type diapers? I didn't price them, but they have to be cheaper. I sure wish you had a diaper-service option. And whatever happened to good ol' rubber pants? They sound so old-fashioned, but I'll tell ya what -- they contained leaks and blow-outs better than any of these new diaper covers could ever do.
I was just reading previous posts on your site, and I've got to say that I totally agree that the Ezzo's have it wrong about scheduled feedings for breast fed babies. I'm sure you're not surprised to hear that, but I just really wanted to add my two cents to the earlier discussion.
I don't have a comment on diapers at this time. But speaking of diapers, I did get the honor of changing little Ella's diaper today. Fortunately, it was only wet, no surprises.
